Egypt mission of 2010 was ISMS 14^th mission.  The team was composed of 20 medical professionals that covered wide spectrum of specialties.   The mission was conducted in Al-Ahrar hospital in the town of Zagazig, located 1 ½ hour northeast of Cairo.  The hospital is relatively new and serves a large area of the Eastern section of the Nile delta.  Per the hospital staff and administration, the presence of ISMS team provided much needed exposure to their staff to modern techniques in medicine and patients’ care that altered the way they practice forever.  The team performed many complex general, thoracic, OBGYN and reconstructive surgeries.  The team also donated many equipment and supplies that should help the Al-Ahrar’s staff in providing better care to their patients.
